Core Irregular Verbs

It’s time to take our new verb skills and build on them. 

Remember that the difference between regular and irregular verbs is that regular verbs follow a set pattern and irregular verbs are special because they do not follow these patterns. 

While most Spanish verbs are regular, irregular verbs represent some of the most common and useful verbs.

Instead of listing the forms of each verb in a separate group, let’s learn each conjugation as a group of 4 verbs at a time. 

Notice the similarities in sound and spelling. 

Read them across a few times, then down a few times.
